2020 C.O.P.S. Program

On March 11, 2020 the World Health Organization designated the coronavirus (COVET-19) as a pandemic.

As more information has come to light, the UPCCA is following the lead of many who have postponed or cancelled events which include large gatherings.

We are postponing (not cancelling) our C.O.P.S. Program scheduled for Monday, March 23, 2020.

We believe this is the most prudent course of action at this time. We will communicate the details regarding rescheduling once they become available.

Thank you for your understanding.

UPCCA Community Service Scholarship Awards

The   United Peachtree Corners Civic Association (UPCCA)  is once again proud to offer a Community Service Scholarship for High School Seniors who reside in Peachtree Corners. Three $1,000 Scholarships will be awarded to students who have made the commitment to volunteer outside of school hours during their high school years.
If you know a high school senior who meets the qualifications, have them:
  • Write an 300 word essay on his/her community service work that had the greatest influence on them and why. This should be on a separate sheet or email.
  • Include a Community Service listing of all activities he/she participated in while in high school.
The deadline is March 15, 2020. Email the above documents and direct any questions to scholarships@upcca.org.

The winners will be chosen strictly on their participation in community service. Thank you for helping the UPCCA reach out to the appropriate students.

UPCCA is once again teaming up with community members and our city officials to clean up the streets around our beautiful city. When we as a community have a common cause, it creates a powerful way to meet new neighbors and build a greater sense of community. The event is part of The Great American Cleanup, sponsored by Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful. The Great American Cleanup represents the nation's largest annual community improvement program.

Volunteers will work in small teams alongside city officials to clean up various litter and illegal signs around various roads in the city of Peachtree Corners. All supplies including bright safety vests, gloves, bags, large grippers and water will be provided. When neighborhoods come together around environmental initiatives, everyone WINS, by making a positive and lasting impact within our own community.
Adults and children 12 years old and older (accompanied by an adult) are invited and encouraged to participate. For more information or to organize your subdivisions group, please contact Matt Lombardi at mattlombardiupcca@yahoo.com
